Is It Safe To Have Tattoos And Piercings While Having Neurofibromatosis?

I have a condition called neurofibromatosis, it’s a neurological and it causes the growth of tumors on never endings, and I was wondering if getting tattoos and piercings could increase the risk of them developing. It would be amazing if you could answer that for me.

Hello,

I think that there is no damage from a tattoo or piercing in the case of neurofibromatosis. The reason for developing nerve tumors is genetic in such cases.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
