Have Nasal Polyp And DNS, Nose Blockage, Difficulty Breathing, Nasal Voice. Advice Regarding Homeopathy Treatment?
Question: Hi Sir,
I am XXXXXXXA, based out of bangalore, suffering from Nasal Polyps and DNS since last 9-10 months (or more).
I am having nose blockage (polyps), difficulty in breathing and nasal voice due to this. It is affecting my work and day to day life now.
I went to allopathy doctor and surgery was advised (septoplasty and for sinus, DNS). However, I am taking one homeopathy medicine from bangalore clinic (Vaidya clinic), though haven't had much relief. I am taking medicines and doing steam inhalation, jal neti and having XXXXXXX tea, all this twice a day.
I am again thinking of having alternative/better treatment or surgery as I want to breathe freely and lead a normal breathing life. Please advice.
Can you please help me with your valuable advice for homeopathy treatment? As per my research, going for surgery is not wise as polyps may recur mostly and thus it will not cure the problem from root.

Deviated Nasal Septum (DNS) becomes a problem when it leads to sinus problem or polyp, otherwise people can continue to live with DNS without any problem. As far as removal of polyps is concerned surgically , there are great chance of recurrence and if once these polyps are cured, there is no need of septoplasty for DNS, as it wont be creating any issues in leading a normal life. Septoplasty has its own risks.
Several examples in Homeopathy have proved that not only Homeopathy helps in reducing the size of existing polyps but also prevents its recurrence. Your case doesn't seem to be a long standing one. So we’ll need to judiciously use these medicines. You would notice a reduction in symptoms very soon after starting your medication. But curing the problem will take some time. Please do let me know how you are doing after 15 days. The following medicines are required:
THUJA 200 - 6 pills TDS
CALC. CARB 200- 6 pills TDS
TEUCRIUM- 30- 6pills TDS
Surely your medicines would need to be changed after a certain period. But you will start observing relief in 10 days.

Thanks for prompt and very useful response.
I am also feeling shortness of breath and no support of breathe while speaking, which is leading to difficulty in speaking (have to apply more effort). Will this also ease with medication as the nasal passage become unblocked steadily?
Also, please let me know where can I get these medicines and should I continue these medicines together with other medicines I am taking (homeopathy medicines)?
Are there any precautions I should take while taking these medicines?i.e. w.r.t diet etc.
And lastly, will these medicines also take care of my Sinus, because as per latest CT scan report, my sinus has increased over last some months.
I also feel heavyness in head some times and a pressure or strain between my eyes (upper part of nasala passage), If I do any physical exercise then I feel more pressure there.

Sinus and polyps are related. The medicines I prescribed covered all the symptoms you have spoken off. In Homeopathy we talk about complete cure, not jus sinus or not just polyp. All the precaution you need to take is have your medicines just 15 minutes before or after you eat anything so that your tongue remains clean to absorb the medicines. Diet is no issue with the medicines. Yes, you can continue them with the other medicines you take. Just be sure to keep some gap in between.
