Have Swollen Meatus, Constricted Urethral Opening, Tenderness, Small Urine Stream, No Pain During Urination. Cause?
Question: I have a swollen meatus and the opening to my urethra is constricted. It is slightly tender. I can urinate but the stream is very small and I'm worried about it swelling shut. There is no paid during urination, no discharge, no other pain in the area. Urine looks normal.
I have not had sex with my wife since last Sunday. There does not appear to be anything else I can think of that may have caused this.

Hi XXXXXX,
Thanks for writing to XXXXXXX I understand your problem.
Your description is very understandable.
This is most probably inflammation with or without infection of the pee-hole.
It is quite risky, as urine can be blocked at any time.
Kindly get examined and the physician would be the best person to advice.
You may need just antibiotic ointment or may require admission for observation.
Kindly go the ER ASAP.
Hope I answered your query. Kindly get back for doubts if any....,
Regards,
Dr GS
