Have Warts On Foot. Applied Liquid Nitrogen. Not Cured

Question: I have an area of warts on the sole of my foot about the size of a quarter. It doesnt bother me when i walk. My dermatologist tried to freeze it with liquid nitrogen but gave up after some months and recommended that i seek another more aggressive treatment. If i just leave it alone am i risking further problems down the road? Thanks.

Hello
Thanks for the query,
Plantar warts are caused by Human papilloma virus.
It is very resistant to treatment.
Usually it is very painful, but its good that you dont have pain.
Dont worry about complications,
It remains confined to skin and will not spread internally to muscles, bones or any other organ of body.
Regarding treatment,
Personal hygiene is very important.
Wash your feet three to four times a day with antiseptic soap and water.
This will help in killing the virus and early recovery.
Slowly your body will develop immunity and these lesions will disappear.
