Having Burning Sensation In Stomach After Food. How To Relieve It?

what can be done to relieve problem
The burning sensation is likely related to either GERD or peptic ulcer disease.
GERD which stands for gastroesophageal reflux disease is more common and more likely.
Peptic ulcer disease means that there is an ulcer in the stomach or adjacent part of the intestinal tract. This would occur in persons who had a longstanding history of GERD.
GERD is the reflux of acid and food contents of the stomach into the esophagus. It can cause the burning you are experiencing as well as other symptoms such as bloating, feeling as though food is stuck, nausea, vomiting, cough. These symptoms may not occur in everyone.
It is treated by modifying the diet and also by the use of medication.
In terms of diet changes you would need to : (1) reduce the use of fatty foods such as fatty meats, frying, oil, butter
(2)reduce the use of spicy foods
(3)reduce tomatoes and oranges and other citric or acidic foods
(4)cut down on foods such as chocolate, coffee, alcohol and mint
(5)decrease any smoking
(6)if there is any excess weight , weight loss would help because it would reduce the pressure on the stomach
Because you are already using small meals and still having problems you may want to consider the use of medication along with the above modifications.
The medications that are used are : omeprazole (prilosec), prevacid, nexium. These reduce the amount of acid found in the stomach.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
