Having Discomfort In The Lower Abdomen. Had Heart Burn, Feeling Stress And Anxiety. Suggest

I'm male and 29 years old, I eat very healthily, don't really drink at all (very rarely), I don't smoke, I'm about 6'2 and weigh around 184lbs. I am very active, I swim and/or lift weights 4 or 5 times a week.
I've been having some pain/discomfort in my right lower abdomen. It's not always there but if I twist or move my body in certain ways I can feel pain inside that part of my body. Its not an extremely bad pain, but it still worries me because of the location. If I stand up and grasp my hand on my side, just above my hip bone and palpate the flesh deeply I can cause the pain to occur. Most of the time, if I'm completely still, I don't feel anything.
This pain/discomfort has been bothering me for a while now but I can't really remember when I first noticed it, but I would say it's been on my mind for perhaps 3 weeks. Some days I haven't really noticed and some days it seems worse. Today I felt it a little more hence me finally wanting to speak to a doctor.
Please note, in the last few months I've been under quite a lot of stress, I've been preparing for a big move, from the UK to California, for a new job. Plus I've had a lot of issues with my now ex girlfriend. I moved this week (on Tuesday). And for the last week and half or so I've had intermittent heart burn, not super bad heart burn, but mild. I attributed this to the extreme stress and anxiety I've been feeling.
Thanks,
XXXXX
Congrats on moving to USA and I am sorry to hear about your problem.
I have seen the picture , your fingers are pushing against the left? side of the abdomen , in medical terms it is known as left lumbar area.
Pain in the left lumbar area in your case , can be due to two reasons in your case.
1). As you have said you are 29 years old , have some mild anxiety problems due to shifting to different country and due to your girl friend.
Generalized anxiety causes high acid production in your stomach at all times and causes you to have stomach problems + heart burn.
Anxiety state also causes increased sweating + constriction of the kidney tube ( ureter ) causing left lumbar pain.
2). The other plausible cause could be abdominal MUSCLE SPRAIN WITH TENDINITIS.
As you have said you do weight lifting quiet often , plus the stress of moving to other country + no pain when you are still + pain is continous for 3 weeks + movement causes pain , all these points lead to "muscle stretch".
The hallmark of Abdominal muscle sprain is , increase in pain on twisting + straining of abdominal muscles.
Abdominal muscles have three layers of muscle sheath , so the pain is deeply located and dull.
So i would recommend that nothing to worry about as it appears to be more like a abdominal muscle sprain , it will go away , but it takes time as abdominal muscles are the biggest muscles in the body , I also need to you to take medicines for anxiety , as it also causes more pain sensation.
I hope this helps your query in detail.
Feel free to ask any further questions about TREATMENT , and I will be happy to answer.
BEST OF LUCK FOR YOUR BIG MOVE
Take care.

Either you have left or right abdominal pain , the explanation i gave was keeping in mind both your areas of abdomen.
So if its on the right side , both causes that I have explained in my last message that is Muscle sprain , with dehydration , are the only plausible cause.
Hope, I was helpful to you in relieving your tension.
Your feed back is important for us.
Take care.
