Question: I have 11 y /o. 5_1", 116 lbs. dry non productive cough. Especially when he lays down at night. Constantly.cant sleep. Been to md. Gave bromfed dm. Did not help at all.
Having him sleep in upright position so he

Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
15 ml of Nyquil would contain 15mg of Dextromethorphan (cough suppressant) and 6.25mg of Doxylamine succinate (antihistamine / sedative).
For a 11 year-old weighing 116 lbs, a 15 ml dose of Nyquil, once at bedtime, would be a safe dose to give.
Wish you all the best.
