1. The most common causes for a puffy tongue with bumps on the sides are:
A. Nutritional deficiencies including vitamins and minerals.
B. Infections such as viral or fungal.
C. Dehydration, mouth breathing.
D. Acid reflux.
E. Dental infections.
and so on.

2. Get an oral and dental examination and start multivitamin, anti-oxidant and mineral supplements.
