Question: Hello Doctor, I am 43 years old. I am suffering from a sour throat from last two days. I feel pain on throat when I take something, even in water. My voice is also not comming out and this happens to me quite offen. Presently I am not taking any medicines. Request for your advise at the earliest possible.

Brief Answer: Descriptive. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for the query. Your are having acute infection in the throat which is affecting the pharynx are well as larynx. Please take steam inhalation and hot fluid sips. Please take tablet Cefixime (T. Zifi 200) twice daily along with analgesics (T. Diclomol) twice daily along with Cap Ocid 20 twice daily (Omeprazole) for five days. Also take Tab. Vozet (Levocetrizine) once daily for two days. Avoid spicy, oily and junk food along with smoking and alcohol (if you use these). Take rest for a day and give your voice rest for few days. Feel free to ask another query. Regards
