Heart Problem, CABG & CT Scan Report Attached. What Does Result Mean?

Question: I had doubt about my fathers heart condition(CABG done on 2004).Two days back he was examined with 320 CT Scan at Chennai Apollo Hospital.

Now i want know about the exact result about him. The reports has been upload into your webside

Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
I have seen the reports attached.
The 320 CT scan report suggests that the stent which was put in 2004 is well patent. The artery distal (after)to it shows deposits and shows mild stenosis.
Right Coronary Artery shows an 80% blockage. This needs to be taken care of.
There is evidence of an old infarct in anterior septal wall of heart.
Rest of the arteries show a diffuse disease and mild deposits are seen.
Most of the blood is flowing through right sided arterial system.

Hello.
For an 80% stenosis, angioplasty is recommended. Otherwise in next few years this might progress to a 100% blockage and he may suffer a major heart attack then.
Recanalization of this artery is the best way to increase his life.
