Brief Answer:
Constipation seems to be the cause

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using the Ask a Doctor service.

I have gone very carefully through your query and have checked the attached image. It seems that the stool is hard resulting in bleeding. Anal fissures, piles or hemorrhoids are most often associated with constipation. Although urgent care is not needed, it indeed calls for monitoring and interventions.

To control piles you need to get rid of constipation. Our gastrointestinal tract has a forward propulsive movement (peristalsis) that moves the food material forward as it is digested, absorbed and finally expelled as feces. Green leafy vegetables and other sources of dietary fibers contribute roughage which for the bulk of stool. Unless fiber intake is adequate, the gastrointestinal movement will be hampered and piles will result.

In order to provide relief to your child, you need to do the following:
* Drink lots of clean water
* Avoid spicy food. Give small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps between meals.
* Avoid red meat.
* Give plenty of green leafy vegetables as well as other sources of dietary fibers. Give fiber supplements like isabgol/psyllium husk or senna. I would insist you to increase her dietary fiber intake.
* Regular morning walk and exercise to keep the bowel movements proper.
* Give curd or yogurt on daily basis. It contains beneficial bacteria and should help.
* Give Sitz bath. In a big tumbler take water as hot as skin can take. Ask her to sit on it with her anal opening dipped.
* If it is still not resolved, medical attention would be needed.

Let me know if I could help further.

Thank you. She does drink plenty of water. We just wanted to make sure she does not need urgent medical care.

Brief Answer:
No she does not

Detailed Answer:
I think that she does not need urgent medical care. However, if you subsequently see the blood loss to be severe, you would have to seek urgent medical care.
