High Wbc Count, Low Lymphocyte, Pregnant. Can This Be Either Due To Cancer Or HIV?

Thanks for the query.
-In pregnancy there can be leukocytosis means increased number of white blood cells,
-This is particularly seen in first and third trimesters,
-Number can be up to 15,000/cumm.
-This usually occurs because of neutrophilia means increase number of neutrophils during pregnancy,
-The normal lymphocyte count is 20 to 40% in total count of white blood cells,
-So your values are within normal limits,
In case of malignancies the count will be in lacks and in HIV the count will be decreased usually,
As you are not having any other symptoms indicating underlying pathology, your count can be taken as physiological only, don’t worry about it.
