Has history of heart disease....diabetic...alzhiemers..started taking mega red and urine turned red...had problems earlier with slow urine stream..Dr. put on Cipro and stream is fine. Urine is rusty..Blood test earlier showed blood in urine...Urine was clear until started mega red

Some foods can cause urine turn red and if this oil has red pigment it may be secreted by kidneys and appear in the urine. But for sure it dose not cause red blood cells in urine.
Blood in urine can appear due to urinary tract stones. With this two diseases you should have also symptoms like abdominal pain, frequent urinating and burning while urinating.
If you do not have any other symptoms than blood in urine, this can be serious. In some cases urinary bladder cancer can appear in such way. Prostate inflammation or cancer can also give blood in urine.
That is why I suggest you to visit urologist, have abdominal ultrasound and PSA level checked. If PSA will be elevated, transrectal ultrasound and prostate biopsy should be performed.
