I had a skin biopsy which showed dermatitis and a superficial vasculitis. It seems to not want to go away. What treatment is best? Thanks
Brief Answer:
Antihistamine. Topical steroid may be advised.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.
Topical moisturizer can be used if dry skin. And if its moist/oily skin, then I prefer calamine lotion.
Topical steroids may be advised by your doctor for dermatitis.
Oral antihistamine like cetrizine may be given if allergic or for itching .
Oral antioxidants or vitamin C may be given if due to vasculitis.
If allergic then patch testing may be done .
Look for any likely allergens and avoiding them is best.
