How Can I Get Rid Of Bartholin Cyst?
Diagnose is made only by inspection of the affected area
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query.
As you describe it seems to be a simple ,non infected Bartholin's cyst.
But the correct diagnosis is only made by inspection of the affected area,by doing pelvic examination by a gynecologist, because there are other many benign lesions like a :
Lipoma
hydradenoma papilliferum
epidermoid cysts
Scene's duct cyst
If you want you can upload a picture of the affected area.
Treatment may not be necessary when Bartholin's cysts cause no symptoms. Small, asymptomatic cysts should simply be observed over time to see whether they grow.
Best regards
pain may be from frequently touch or inflammation
Detailed Answer:
Hi again!
If it started to hurt it may be from frequent touch or infection of cyst .
There is nothing to worry but to if you have pain try with Sitz bath 3 to 4 times per day and squeeze it with a sterile gauze .
If you are sexually active you may need for a course of antibiotics, but they should be prescribed from a doctor.
All the best
It's okay
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear again.
Apologize for late reply.
You can have intercourse while you have that cyst
If you are sexually active, then I will also recommend we rule out possible STI (sexually transmitted infection) because the one of the main reason of Bartholin's cyst is gonorrhea infection.
Have a vaginal swab done to exclude /confirm any infection.
All the best
