What Causes A Small Wound Or Tear On The Labia Minora At The Same Spot?

I have a small wound or tear on my labia minora, in the exact same spot, sometimes it goes away for weeks then comes back and sticks to my underwear and hurts so bad to tear it away. Then it bleeds and a few days later it heals up again for another few weeks. What is this!? Ive had the same partner for 2 years and we ve both been checked for everything under the sun. I had a baby a year ago. Could this contribute?

Hi,

Very difficult to comment without seeing directly or pictures. It can be an infection of Bartholin gland to a simple folliculitis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr B. Radhakrishnan. Nair, OBGYN
