Question: Hi, I slipped and fell in the shower yesterday hitting the right side of my head behind my right ear on the toilet with such force it broke the seal on the toilet. I feel okay. Should I go to the hospital just to get checked out? I have a knot behind my right ear and it's a red mark. I'm also bruised on my right upper arm.

As we are unable to see what is inside without specific tests, and the symptoms can appear when it might be too late, ignoring head injury is not a good idea. Especially injury which has caused such damage. The energy absorbed by your had must have been high.
Even if you have no symptoms at all, please visit ER. Head CT should be done.
