Hello, I recently had a spinal tap and head injury for (migraine and work injury). The pressure headache and spinal headache dissipated but all of a sudden I have extreme post nasal drip of a clear liquid (mucus maybe?) and it s causing me to cough. SOB (I m asthmatic). I used inhaler and took sudafed no relief. What can I use to dry it up?
It is important that your cough is temporarily stopped. A syrup known as an antitussive will help stop your cough. Any over the counter cough syrup containing dextromethorphan can be used. Additionally, take an antihistamine like Cetirizine. It will help clear your nasal secretions.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
