Question: How can I stop a nosebleed
My husband is on Coumadin and he has pinched his nostrils together 3 times for 5 minute intervals and it is still bleeding

You should take him to an ENT SPECIALIST immediately as he needs a nasal packing to stop bleeding.
Make him sit with head down to avoid aspiration of blood.
Put xylometazoline nasal drops over a cotton plug.
