How Can A Pimple On The Forehead Be Treated While Using Cetaphil?

default
Posted on Wed, 19 Jul 2017
Question: HI, my forehead has turned bumpy, and every day or every alternate day, one of the bumps turns to a pimple.
I have tried everything natural. (home remedies)
I have changed my diet too.
I have tried Cetaphil and one more creme suggested by a dermatologist from the same app.
the thing is my nose and forehead is super oily.
I have started a proper cleaning, toning, moisturizing, still it is not going, taken steam too, I think pores are clogged.
sometimes they get red, sometimes only colorless bumps.

what do you think is wrong.

I have stopped all the hair products, and I clean my scalp daily.

I checked my pictures from December, my forehead was perfect, and spotless, and flat.
also attaching a picture from December

Brief Answer:
Management of acne

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at HealthcareMagic
I have reviewed the attached photographs and you are are having acne.
The skin coloured bumps are closed comedones along with pimples which are inflammatory papules of acne.
It is common in your age and is related to the hormonal and genetic factors.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to use a salicylic acid facewash twice daily and apply a cream containing combination of adapelene and benzoyl peroxide gel on the comedones as well as pimples at night for one hour and then wash your face with plain water.
Besides this avoid oiling of scalp, avoid srubbing of face, avoid cosmetics, reduce the intake of sugary foods and don't pick the lesions.
Regards
Dr Asmeet

also, should I continue with tea tree oil toner and clean and clear moisturizing afyer face wash?

how much time these hormonal changes take place, any particular reason for this change?

Brief Answer:
Saslic or Klm klin facewash, epiduo, minozbpo or persol plus gel

Detailed Answer:
You can use saslic facewash or Klm Klin facewash twice daily.
Various brands containing the combination of adapelene and benzoyl peroxide are epiduo gel, minoz bpo gel, persol plus gel.
Yes you can continue with tea tree oil toner and clean and clear face wash.
There is no specific reason for the hormonal changes. They usually occur in teenage years to late 20s due to excessive sebum production in some individuals and subside after some years.
Your diet seems to be fine.
You can continue with it.
