How Can A White Lesion On The Face Be Treated?
Question: My daughter aging 8 yrs have same white patch on her face. It also seen near her arm. Innitially it looks like a rash and then it turns into white patch. but all in vain. this problem is since last 2.5 yrs

Hi.... I have seen this image. What you have rounded off in the image is a white lesion with stands out on both the cheeks. This is a mild type of fungal infection of the skin called Pityriasis XXXXXXX This will get better with mild steroid application over the area. You can use hydrocortisone cream application over the area for a period of 2 weeks.
But this a prescription drug and you will require a doctor's prescription for this.
By the way this mild fungal infection can be recurrent, but it will get better and as the age progresses can get better and ultimately subside.
