How Can Cold Be Treated In A Toddler

Question: Hi,

My daughter is of 2.5 years old. She is having cold from this morning. Her body temperature is 98.2 F. Do I need to give any medicine now or only if temperature increases further? If yes, what medicine and how much?

Her weight is 9.4 Kg.

Thanks for your query.

Does your child have runny nose?
Following medicine can be given:

Syrup Cetirizine 1.5ml 1-2 times a day depending on severity of runny nose
Syrup Crocin can be given if child is irritable otherwise its needed only if temperature is above 102
Syrup Dabur Honitus if sore throat and cough is there
Vicks lozenges maybe taken
