How Can I Taper Off From Pain Medicines Without Any Side Effects?
Question: Some Of My Doctors stopped my Pain Meds I have been taking since 1991 I really bad pain in in my hips and 2 knee replacements 4 other knee surgerys and 3 back surgrys I am 70 years old can walk a little but not with out a walker do they have to give me a 30 day supply and not just stop it cold turkey

Well looking into your problem I will like to tell you that taking pain killers like ibuprofen i not recommended for such long time . Thats why probabaly your doctor has stopped it . If your pain is unbearable you might consider talking ot your doctor about opioid analgesics like tramadol . Local application of pain relieving gels can also be tried as it has minimal side effects .
Plus your CBC , RFT , LFT needs to be done before starting any pain relieving medicines.

I am Sorry but my pain meds. were Norco 10 / 325 4 times a day . I have been taking since 1991 and they put me on IP 800 mg . sorry I did not explain this first but I was so upset and in pain and crying at the same time and the IP. brokes me out in hives , can they just stop my Norco cold turkey , I am in so much pain now I can't even think good at all , XXXXXXX 1943
