How Can One Confirm If The Interval Growth Of Babies Is Normal During 31 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Question: Dear Sir/Madma
My Wife is 31 Weeks Pregnant Have done interval Growth Scan attached the report for the Same. Radiologist Orally mentioned(Not in report) that for one baby Body is of 28 Weeks and head is 31 Weeks.Wanted to check if this causes any problem if yes what can be done in order to bring i to normal.?
Request you to review the Interval growth scan and provide the input on the same
Also we ha had done Routine test attached the Thyrocare report for the same.Could you please review and let us know if we need to take immediate attention

The interval growth of both babies is normal. Please don't worry. Lab reports are fine too.

Vitamin D and hemoglobin are on the lower side so supplements for that should be taken.

Thanks for quick reply.taking Supplements for iron and Vitiman D.
Also wanted to confirm When we had done previous scan as attached in the screenshot which was done in 1 month back it was mentioned Internal OS is opened measuring 2.3 cms with membrane bulging as a result Doctor insisted to put Cervical Stitch and we had put Cervical stitch .
In current scan it is mentioned Internal OS is closed.So wanted to confirm if we put Stitch whether it would come as Internal OS is Closed?

Also Doctor had Given Steriods in 29th Week thinking Pre mature delivery could happen.So whether Steriods would have impact after 2 weeks in baby development
Any Side efftects on the baby due to Steriods if Baby is deliverd after 4-5 weeks og Giving steriods

Yes, because the cervical stitch was put properly, the os is closed.

That means that it had started opening up before time, with a risk for preterm labor, and because of the stitch, it is now in control.

Steroids are given to enhance maturity of the lungs of the babies in case preterm delivery happens. There is no side effect on the baby if it is delivered 4 -5 weeks after giving steroid shot.

Thanks for the Information.Also wanted to confirm My wife is getting White discharge is this common during 32nd week of pregnancy or we need to take immediate attention.
what are the negative signs during 32 weeks of pregnancy which we should consider and take immediate attention and consult the doctor.
Also will we be having one more scan after 32 weeks of pregnancy if yes what is the scan name and purpose?

Hello,

Yes, white discharge is common during pregnancy, do not worry.

The negative signs or warning signs to watch out for are:-

1. Persistent cramps and lower abdominal pain.
2. Liquid urine like thin discharge that wets the underwear and salwar.
3. Bleeding or spotting.
4. Reduced fetal movements.

The next scan is called Color Doppler and growth scan, it should be done at around 35 - 36 weeks.
