
How Can Red Rashes On The Face Be Treated?

Question: hi doc, my son is 7 month old..he is having cough for past 10 days..me pediac has advised azithromycin syrup 15 ml in 4 ml dosage for 4 days, zyrtec dropa 0.2 ml twice a day for 6 days and a cought drop (name i forget) 0.5 ml thrice day for 6 days..his cough is reduced now but not gone completely..also, a lot of small red dots have appeared over his face..we are using atolga lotion and maxcare virgin coconut oil for massage..how to overcome this red spots as they are increasing since last 2 days

Hi... I understand your concern. I have seen the image and also have gone through the history you have provided.
This looks like heat rash or an eczema both of which can have some ups and downs in this season. As I have suggested previously please keep applying Atogla lotion. This should do.
If it is still getting aggravated kindly consult your local pediatrician or dermatologist to decide if it requires a steroid cream application.
