I just got recommended to use that.. Let me explain. My vaginal itches really bad and it burns when I pee. When I shower and I wash it.. It feels really thick like swollen or something...

Hi - metronidazole would not be a good idea for something to start with as it has the potential for serious side effects. It is used for parasitic infections and certain bacterial infections.
You are listed as male here but I will assume that is a mistake since you say your vagina itches.
It's possible you have a yeast infection if you itch and have white curdy (like cottage cheese) appearing discharge. For that you can use an over the counter (non prescription) anti yeast medication such as Monistat. You can also try to bathe in a tub of water with a cup of apple cider vinegar in it or use a wash cloth with half strength apple cider vinegar mixed with water.
But it could be other types of infections too if you are at any risk for an STD. For that you would have to be tested at your doctor's office or a clinic.
