How Can Severe Vertigo Be Treated?

Question: I have been having instances of room spinning, shifting or sliding either while I am standing still , sitting or lay down, it has been more frequent. Causes?

Hello. I just read through your question.
One common cause could be lack of hydration. Often increased fluid intake is enough to alleviate this problem. Another potential cause is Vertigo. This is a neurological condition that causes the symptoms you describe. If increased hydration does not help. I recommend consulting with a neurologist.

I have a history of epilepsy, in 2011 i was diagnosed with complex partial seizures and had a temporal lobectomy and have been seizure free (but not aura free)since, I am type 1 diabetic and been on insulin for 12 years, I make a point to drink at least 64 oz of water a day, wondered if it could be an ear problem as i have intermitent ear pain in both ears as well, really hoping not a neurological issue but afraid it might be, thanks.

It's so great that you've been seizure free.
Yes, this could definitely be an inner ear problem, ie: mild fluid buildup in the ears. it would be worth having an ENT check you before we consider neurology.
