How Can Vaginal Peeling And Soreness After Brazilian Waxing Be Treated?
Question: Hello. I recently had a Brazilian wax (about a week ago). I went on vacation and was swimming in the Caribbean Sea and in the pool. I was also sweating a lot and had some pretty bad chafing on my bikini line and inner thighs. As of today, the skin is peeling on my vulva. The wax was a bit hot and I had to tell the woman to cool it off before she could pull off the wax. She also mistakenly got some wax on my clitoris and it became irritated. It is not irritated anymore. However, I am concerned by the peeling. Is this from a skin burn or something else?
Brief Answer:
Seems to be related to sun burn, apply cortisone cream
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at HealthcareMagic
I have gone through your complaints and peeling of skin is due to a resolving skin burn.
It is nothing to worry and will be fine in few days.
I would recommend you to apply cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily along with frequent application of a moisturising cream on entire area 2-3 times in a day.
