Hi!

sorry to tell you but we do not have a cure for thyroid disorder. Thyroid gland, if diseased due to any cause, starts malfunctioning. It either starts hyper functioning or hypo functioning. In either case, the problem is one that requires life long care.
Hyper functioning thyroid, once treated, by ablation, surgery or medicines, usually becomes hypothyroid. Hypo functioning thyroid, is a state when thyroid is not making hormones adequately, and requires replacement in the adequate dose.
So the summary is that when we treat thyroid disorder, we are actually replacing the thyroxine hormone that is normally being secreted from thyroid gland. So we cannot cure thyroid we can only provide replacement for thyroid hormone in the form of medicines.
