There are many causes of irregular periods like PCOD, uterine fibroid, ovarian failure, endometriosis, diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, stress or malnutrition etc. You have been recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism. You need to use medication for that.
For irregular periods, Meprate is the best drug. You need to use as prescribed by your gynecologist. Meprate helps in regularizing periods. Regarding thyroid, please consult an endocrinologist for further evaluation and treatment.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
