Question: Hi, XXXXXXX is suffering from cold and cough from the past 1 week. Recently the medicines were changed to -
Refzil 0 125 mg
Atarax Drops
Nutrolin b
Could you please let me know the use of each medicine. XXXXXXX Details
DOB 5'th Aug,2014 (27 weeks premature)
Current weight -4.25 kg

Following are the details and use of medicine prescribed

1. Refzil is Cephalosporin antibiotic and is used for treating bacterial infection.

2. Atarex is Hydrozyzine which is antihistamine. It helps relieve the symptoms of Respiratory tract infection by antihistamine action.

3. Neutrolin B is Probiotic. It contains useful bacteria which help replenishing the normal bacteria of gut. This helps in prevention of antibiotic associated loose motion and diarrhoea.
