How Is HIV And Herpes Transmitted?

I was at an Asian Massage Parlor and was careful about not engaging in any oral, vaginal, or anal sex. However, after the water bath I had received - the Asian sex worker had bent down in front of me, drying my legs off, and quickly/playfully kissed the tip of my penis with her lips. I didn't think about it until afterwards, that she could have had an invisible sore, a herpes virus that could have been dormant. Obviously, contracting HIV is harder then herpes - but I am concerned. And no, I did not notice any cold sores or fever blisters on or around her mouth.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
It is good that you followed all safety precautions.
HIV is not possible to get transmitted by this route. So you can totally allay fears of HIV.
Also other STDs also not possible to spread by the description given.
Only Herpes simplex is a rare possibility in your case.
But points against it,
there is no active lesions in her at all.
I hope she is not a case of herpes also to think of dormancy.
It is rare to spread even if dormant stage in her.
I do not think you have any abrasions or cuts to enhance transmission which is totally against herpes transmission
so you can allay fears of herpes also.
You can get back to me for any clarifications.
Thank you
Dr Bharatesh

What I have been reading on various websites is that Herpes Simplex 1 or 2 can be easily contracted through saliva alone, even skin-to-skin contact without an apparent and obvious open or noticeable sore/blister. Where I was becoming worried is that a mere and initial "innocent" kiss could be something much more. Please, respond to this follow up.
Thank you,

Unlikely to get Herpes
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thank you for follow up query.
It is correct that Herpes Simplex 1 or 2 can be easily contracted through Kiss or by skin-to-skin contact without an apparent and obvious open or noticeable sore/blister. It depends on the infectivity status of person, presence of virus in saliva at that time, the time of exposure of infective material with contact, presence of active lesions etc.
The amount shed from active lesions is 100 to 1000 times greater than when it is inactive.
The incubation period usually is 3-6 days.maximum by 2 weeks it should appear if infected.
All these make you unlikely to get herpes.
You are becoming too anxious.you can look for symptoms or rash which is most unlikely
You can get back to me for any clarifications else please close the discussion and rate.
Thank you
