How Is The Hepatitis B Infection Contracted?

Question: can hepatitis b be contracted from a couch after sex? or any std?
I wiped down with Lysol wipes but my kids are on the same couch and want to make sure they're not exposed to anything. The event occurred about 5 or 6 six days prior to them being here with me.

Brief Answer:
NO!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.
You cannot contract hepatitis B that way or any other STDs. The germs for these infections cannot survive out of the body. There is no reason to get worried about this. Be calm and all is fine. If you are not already vaccinated against hepatitis B, please do so. It is a total gain.
I hope this helps and addresses your query fully. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
