How Long Do Side Effects Of Ramipril Last?
Suggest antihistamine and possibly antiemetic.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for using Healthcare Magic.
It would appear you have suffered from an unfortunate mistake. The side effects you list are known to occur in approximately 1 in 100 people taking Ramipril. You can be reassured that these effects will not be long-lasting. I would anticipate they will wear off in the next week.
I advise an antihistamine taken at night will both suppress your cough and help you sleep. Antihistamines are available over the counter. The dizziness is likely to be related to a lowered blood pressure so I suggest you do not take unnecessary exercise for the next week. Your tiredness may be related to lack of sleep and taking an antihistamine at before bed may help. Your nausea may be help by an antiemetic such as cyclizine. If the nausea is troublesome, I suggest you discuss an antiemetic with your doctor.
I hope this is of help. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
