How Long Does Cialis Take To Show Effect?

Question: I just received a new prescription for Cialis 10mg. - I understand that the effects of Cialis are similar to those of Viagra, but they are much longer lasting. If I take one an hour before sex, when should I begin to achieve an erection, and will I lose that erection following my orgasm, as I usually did in my younger days? Also, since the effects can last for 3 or so days, how soon can I take another dose of 10 mg.?

Yes, cialis works like Viagra but relatively less side effects than those of viagra. You can take it 1.5 hours before sex. It has long half life. So effects last up to 24 to 48 hours depending on individual factors. You can take next dose after 48 hours.

Yes after orgasm erection is going to loose. It is natural thing. And it takes more time to erect again than that in younger age. There is a refractory period after orgasm in male during which erection is not possible. This duration varies from 15 minutes to 45 minutes in general. However as age progresses it can be of 1 day also.

So far my receiving oral sex has been wonderful after my being celibate for the last several years, and I do not need a firm/hard erection to receive it. But, in all fairness to my partner, I want back the ability of my younger years to provide her with excellent penetrative sex. My COPD limits the "athletic aspect" of intercourse, but I believe the shortness of breath caused by the COPD will not be a problem if my partner is on top and I am on the bottom.

Is there anyway I can increase the volume of my ejaculate? My partner seems tp enjoy the pulsing flow I produce during orgasm.

Sorry - I forgot to ask - the pharmacist told me to be careful about consuming any citrus fruit products such as orang or grapefruit juice while taking Cialis and/or Viagra. He said that they tend to lessen or even eliminate their effect. I know that grapefruit products should not be taken with a variety of medicines, but I had never heard of the same problem occurring with other citrus fruit. Is this true?

After 70 it is almost not possible to increase volume of semen as it naturally reduces due to aging progress. Overall volume depends on your general physical health and strength.

I also have never heard about citrus fruits and cialis interaction. It is not likely there. You can avoid intake of both together for a while or at least keep distance of 1 hour between intake of two. I tried to search but did not find any significant evidence.
