Brief Answer:
3-4 days maximum after last dose
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
Thanks for writing to us.
In patients with bipolar disorder medicines can be stopped if there is no episode of depression or mania for significant period (which depends on overall history of bipolar).
Maximum half-life of divalproex sodium is 16 hours. In general drug takes 5 half-lives to clear from the body. So drugs will clear from the system in approximately 80 hours (3-4 days).
Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.
