How Long Does Gabapentin Take To Leave The System?

Can norco with gabapentin cause such an allergic reaction? I started the gabapentin (and norco ) along with
Warfarin on Feb 6 and again this reaction began this past Friday am (Feb 24). Tonight is my last night for warfarin. Have never had such a dramatic reaction - I know I am taking many meds -- Prilosec, fiorset, zofran
As well as flexeril. Do you think gabapentin is the culprit here and again how long before this terrible rash will take to go away if I stop gabapentin. (Or could any of the other meds have caused this ?
I don't think your skin reaction is due to gabapentin or any other drugs.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the detailed history you have given.
Skin reaction is not a side effect of any of the drugs you are taking.
Particularly, gabapentin is unlikely to cause skin reaction. So I don't think stopping of gabapentin will make any difference in skin lesions.
Sometimes viral infection can also cause similar kind of skin reaction. And warfarin can even worse such skin reactions.
So better to stop warfarin (after consulting your doctor) and see for improvement in skin lesions.
If you are still having skin lesions, better to consult dermatologist.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
