Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using HCM.
I went through your query and understood your concerns.
This medication need to be stopped only under your treating docyors advice. As few conditions may become worse when you suddenly stop this drug. If your doctor decides you should no longer use this drug.
I usualy direct my patients to gradually decrease dose over 1 to 2 weeks and then stop medication after complete examination.
When gradually stopping this medication, I do recommended for my patients to temporarily limit physical activity to decrease strain on the heart. Get medical help right away if they develop chest pain/tightness/pressure, chest pain spreading to the jaw/neck/arm, unusual sweating, trouble breathing, or fast/irregular heartbeat.
Your body may need 15 to 20 days to adjust to your medication change if gradual reduction in dose done. Better you limit your exercises for a month to reduce strain on your heart and get examined by your doctor once. Get complete examination done.
Hope I answered your query. Feel free to ask further related query. I will be glade to answer them.
Wish you a good health.
