How Long Does Marijuana Stay In Our System After Consuming It?

I am pregnant (17 weeks) and quitting marijuana. Is there anything I can take to help it leave my system quicker? What do you recommend?
Thanks!

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.
Let me congratulate you on quitting marijuana! This is one of the best thing you can do for both your and your child's health.
Marijuana stays in the system for about 72 hours after last use. For heavy chronic users, it can stay in fat cells in the body for up to three months, but this requires very heavy use and is rare. For most people it leaves the body in 3 days.
There is nothing you can do to speed up marijuana's exit from the body. Marijuana is metabolized by the liver and nothing can speed up this metabolism. Just stay hydrated and eat healthy and it will leave you body naturally in due time.

You're welcome! Aerobic exercise will not speed up marijuana's metabolism, no. But exercise is good anyway!
