Question: How long does morphine sulfate stay in system if given to someone by IV? It's been a day thus far. It was given in the late morning i believe .

First of all, morphine levels in body is measured by levels in blood, urine or hair. This is convention.
On an average, morphine if given iv, stays in blood for around 1-2 days, in urine upto 2-4 days and in hair it stays more than 2 months.
