Vicodin contains both Acetaminophen and hydrocodone , the half life of both of them varies between 2-4 hours. In general, if we talk about a single tablet of Vicodin in a person with normal renal and kidney functions, the effect would be at peak in next2-3 hours and would clear off the body in major amount by 24 -36 hours.
