How Long Does Bleeding Prolong While Going Through Abortion?
Question: Hello Sir/Ma'am,
I was diagnosed with 4 weeks 5 days pregnancy on TVS, fetal pole was not visible, the GSD was around 8 mm with no cardiac activity.
I took mifepristone 200 mg and followed it with 400 mcg misoprostol sublingually after 48 hours. I passed a huge clot with transparent sac within 4 hours and the bleeding was scant. After 12 hours I took 400 mcg of misoprostol again. I passed another clot of similar size. The bleeding is very scant. I am having no pain and cramps. The bleeding is much less compared to my regular menstrual cycle. I am concerned if the abortion is complete or not. Can I take 400 mcg of misoprostol again sublingually without any harm to my uterus? I don't want to insert it vaginally. Thank you.

Thank you for prompt reply. Is taking another 400 mcg of misoprostol safe? I have already consumed 800 mcg sublingually in a gap of 12 hours as 2+2. So is it safe to take another 400 mcg sublingually. Im a primi and have had no pregnancies so far. Also can I start ciplofloxacin and tinidazole bd for five days within a day or two. Thank you.
This will be my thirs dose of misoprostol. Total would be 1200 mcg. Can I go for it safely ?
