Brief Answer:
Dengue is in the recovery phase..
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I understand your concern.
I am Dr. Arun Tank, infectious diseases specialist, answering your query.
In my opinion your wife is recovering from the dengue as indicated by the increase in platelet counts.
So wait and watch period is over, there is no possibility of hemorrhage now.
Itching will continue for only few days from now. You can continue the cetrizine for itching till that time..
It is adviced to take rest for at least 15 days once the platelet comes to normal range.
I will be happy to answer your further concern, you can ask me on bit.ly/DrArun.
Thank you.
