Brief Answer:
Relevant diet suggested.Need an UGIE

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I understand your concern.

You need to avoid spicy, fried and fatty foods.

Avoid red meat.

Consume fruits like apple and pomegranate every day.

Make sure you finish dinner by 8 pm.

I advise you to get an Upper GI endoscopy/UGIE for better assessment of LR.

This can help to find out the cause and formulate treatment.

Duloxetine is itself associated with LR.Hence, a simultaneous protection with drugs like pantoprazole is important. Please check with your physician if he can prescribe them to you.

Post your further queries if any.

Brief Answer:
This acid reflux can be curable

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I can understand your concern.

Yes, if you take good diet, your symptoms will vanish.

It is advisable to have an upper GI endoscopy again.

This reflux has the propensity to cause a condition called Barrets esophagus-BE.

This BE can cause esophageal cancers.

Hence, it is mandatory to rule out BE on endoscopy.

Losing weight will also help you significantly.

When detected early and treated appropriately, the condition is absolutely curable.

Thank you.
