How Long Does Recovery From Chicken Pox Take?

Question: Hi Doctor
i was diagnosed with Chicken pox last Wednesday and was put on 7 day course of Valacyclovir 1 mg 3 times a day along with Cetrizine 10 mg in night and calamine lotion to be applied on affected area.
Over the period of one week, water filled blisters appeared all over body including face and head. Dermatologist did tell me that i am suppose to take Valacyclovir medicine for 7 days initially and in case condition doesn't improve then i can extend the medicine for 3 more days.
i am attaching prescription and today photo of body for your reference. Please help me with below queries
1. Do i need to take Valacyclovir medicine for another 3 days?
2. Am I still contagious?
3. I can see almost all (except few 2/3 specially on my back) blisters have dried up
4. Can i go outside now for daily needs?
5. From when i can join office?
Please let me know if more detailed/clear pictures i need to send for your refefrence

Brief Answer:
You may discontinue valacyclovir and resume your work and activities
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have noted your concern.
Crusting of chicken pox lesions is a sign that the patient is no longer infectious to others. Since almost all of your skin lesions have dried that indicates that you are no longer infectious. You may discontinue valacyclovir. You may also go out for work if you feel like.
