How Long Should A Blocked Salivary Gland Take To Resolve?
Salivary duct stone
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
I am sorry to hear that you have a duct stone. I usually recommend eating sour candy as the sourness produces more salivary reaction. If the stone is still not resolving then I usually place my patients on a course of antibiotics. Usually the antibiotics reduce any swelling in the duct and allows the stone to pop out. If that does not work then you may need to have the duct surgically opened to allow passage of the stone. This should not last more than a full week. If you still having issues I would recommend see your ENT specialist for treatment.

One bag should do the trick
Detailed Answer:
I would say that you should only need to use one bag. Needing to take candy daily like that makes me think your stone is fairly well lodged and will need medical attention.
