What Is The Treatment For A Lump In The Ear?

hi to you, i have been getting a lump come up just in front of right ear on the jaw line. This started about 4 months ago, went to dr. had all sorts of tests done which none showed anything wrong. Dr thought i had a partial blockage of salivary gland. Went to my dentist yesterday she felt around in my mouth and yep there it was a blockage. What i am concerned about, is that all this time (4 Months) every day a couple times a day i get a mouthful of sweet tasting saliva which the dentist said is mostlike pus. The last 3 months + I have been very tired and if allowed could sleep the day and night away. Could having pus going into my system on a daily basis be coursing this tiredness?

Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It's parotid duct mucous plug impingement. Better to go for a very small minimal invasive endoscopic procedure, sialendoscopy. It will resolve after the procedure.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
