Brief Answer: Hi and welcome ot HCM Detailed Answer: You need to stop running for at least 10-14 days depending on severity of muscle pulling. If there is still pain after 10 days, you need to do ultrasound or MRI scan to verify is there muscle rupture or not. You should keep your leg elevated, take nonsteroid painkillers and continue with cold compresses. But you need to rest as much as you can. Just do stretching exercises. Wish you good heačth. Regards
