Question: Hello doctor... This is XXXX XXXXXXX from XXXXXXX . Am undergoing IVF procedure. my question is how many good embryos required?

I understand your concerns about number of embryos.

Following is my reply:

1. Ideally one embryo is good enough for pregnancy. One embryo is enough.

2. Injections are given during IVF to get more eggs and simultaneously more embryos.

3. These embryos can be frozen and used again if you are not successful.

So there is no exact no. of embryos that are considered good . The higher the better chances of freezing.
