How Much Temazepam Does Blood Reading Of 0.14 Mg/kg Of Oxazepam Indicate?
Brief Answer:
Explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
15 mg Oxazepam would equate to a single 10 mg Temazepam tablet. In other words 2 tablets of 15 mg oxazepam would equate to three tablets of temazepam 10 mg. 0.14 mg/kg blood level of Oxazepam is unlikely as its the dosing consideration with which its prescribed. Most probably its 0.14 ng/ml.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks

Dear Doctor, thankyou for your answer, but it did not answer my question.
With the amount of Oxazepam detected in the blood, how many 10 mg tablets would it equal? also
With the >5100 ug/l of Oxazepam detected in the urine, how many 10 mg tablets would it equal?

Hello again,
Based on the values of the blood levels, 0.14 mg/kg multiplied by body weight in kg would give the average dose taken during that duration.Factors such as Half-life elimination of oxazepam i.e time for half of the drug to be eliminated which is 3-6 hours and peak plasma time which is about 3 hours also plays a role so the exact dose cant be calculated based on a single blood or urine level of oxazepam at a single instance.
Hope this clears things , better.
Let me know if you have any query
Thanks.
